MEETING OF THE WORSHIP TEAM, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2019
Pastor Kevin called the meeting to order and opened with prayer.
Present: Dana Hartel, Pastor Kevin Heffernan, Sarah Miller, Lani Stanek, Pam Ulness, Jody Kell, Holly Nelson, Ellen Smolinski, Cindy Hendren and Kristen Bjornstad
Absent: Valerie Gulke and Kristen Woods.
The following fall and winter schedules/worship services were discussed by the Worship Team:
Rally Day: Joining up with The Life Team to have a ”Fiesta” themed lunch after 10:00am service. The decision was made to do our outside service here in the Gathering Area then serve a Taco Bar Lunch Potluck. This will be the kickoff for Sunday School.
Remainder of September to carry out that theme celebrating with Food, Games, Trivia etc.
October – Mid November Stewardship Campaign
October 13 Simple Hope Giving Event.
Pre-Thanksgiving Service on Nov 24th will be time for thanking the congregation…. Slideshow review of last years events, to demonstrate how grateful we are for our family.
Advent begins Dec 1st This year’s theme to be Renewal, Family, Faith and Finding Peace
Christmas Services to be Traditional 4:00 & 6:00 pm Christmas Eve and 9am Christmas Day.
There being no further business, Pastor Keven adjourned the meeting with prayer. The Next meeting of the Worship Team is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 6:30pm
